We are advertising for an Advanced Practitioner in Halifax, as we have a new vacancy at a GP surgery based just outside the city centre. They can consider both Clinical Pharmacists and Advanced Nurse Practitioners, from any background, but you will require experience within General Practice for a minimum of a year.
You daily duties will include autonomously running your own Minor Illness Clinics, seeing patients for a large range of ailments e.g. chest infections, UTIs and sickness and treating them without GP supervision (V300 Prescribing is essential). A small element of triage will be included, as will the occasional home visit.

The surgery have an excellent reputation in the area providing first class care to the local community, with a 'good' CQC report and positive patient reviews, you can be reassured you'll have an outstanding working environment.
They have a couple sites across Halifax, all are purpose built with modern facilities and parking available on site. They support a patient list of around 20,000 with a diverse clinical team, utilising alternative staff types to ease the workload. System One is used, so knowledge and experience on that system would be beneficial, however they would be happy to offer training if necessary.
As mentioned training and progression options are available for staff, they are a training practice so support will be given to any specialisms or skills you wish to develop. Allowing you to grow and feel fulfilled within your role.
