Diabetes Education Services Lead - Leicester
Chase Medical are currently recruiting for the exciting new position of Diabetes Education Services Lead in the Leicester area. This is a unique opportunity to enter the field of clinical education, developing and enhancing the quality of diabetes workshops across the country. The role is centred around the Leicestershire/East Midlands area, however travel to locations across the country will be required on occasion. You will be required to attend meetings and report back to head office, based in Leicester itself.
This position is offering either part- or full-time hours, with a salary of £36,000 - £56,000 per annum (FTE, depending on experience).
In this position, you will be required to teach a wider group of diabetes educators, who are placed within communities across the UK to deliver workshops to those with diabetes. You will oversee the quality of these workshops and ensure that they are delivered within both company and Department of Health guidelines. Working in conjunction with the Curriculum Board, you will support and develop current and future diabetes education programmes.
In order for you to be considered, you will need to possess/have experience in the following skills:
- Clinical experience
- Diabetes qualification / experience
- Experience in adult teaching
- Presentation skills
- Driver's license, prepared to travel
- Evidence of leadership skills
